‘The Circular’ magazine
(Issue 32 September 1998) and includes many of Ed’s original
(1990) Crop Circle research observations, revealing how sonic
and particularly ultrasonic energy can explain many of the
anomalous biophysical effects found in many Crop Circle
formations plants and soil. The article also points to an
abundance of clues linking ‘sound’ to a divine ‘Source’ of
non-manmade Crop Circle creation, symbolized in the timing,
placing, geometry, mathematics, numerology, design symbolism and
meaning of many formations, and reflected in every Crop Circle
season since the early 1980s, including 1997, as ‘Nine’.

The 1996 Laguna Canyon Crop Circle
Formation
A Preliminary Report
This article is condensed from our original 25 page report,
examining the remarkable Laguna Canyon, California formation of
March 1996. The only Crop Circle researchers to document the
formation, we quickly realized that it was made up
of petroglyph symbols of the local Tongva tribe, the Native
Americans once indigenous to the Los Angeles Basin. Plant tests
conducted by Dr. Levengood confirmed the undeniable biophysical
changes associated with the genuine Crop Circle phenomenon in
this formation. Also included are the only known aerial
photographs of the pictogram, generously supplied by Marj
Krstien.
On
an historical note: Though they were once the sole residents of
the entire Los Angeles area, the Tongva Nation, a very few of
which still survive, incredibly has yet to be ‘officially
recognized’ as a tribe by the United States Government!
